of Aluta Jakuja

My name is Aluta jakuja. I am a very passionate, young developer who likes to take on new challenges. I love to learn new skills through learning from activities or other who am I working with. I work well in a team but I am also strong individually. I started programming 8 years ago and ever since I have increased my skills and proficiency, so I am very confident in ability to adapt on the fly and provide solutions or out of the box ideas.

Education

I completed my NSC in Lowveld High School in Nelspruit, in Mpumalanga, where I started out my journey in computer science, becoming very adept at developing programms. I started at Lowveld High in 2014 and completed my Nsc in 2019.

I am currently a student at the Belgium Campus. I am in my final year with one year left for practicals in the form of a 6 month internship. I am studying a degeree in computer science which is equivalent to an NQF level of 8. During my time at the Belgium Campus I have been able to refine and improve my skills, learning multiple different languages. I have upgraded my skills from those of a simple programmer to being a capable software developer as well.

Skills and Hobbies

I am an individual who loves to learn about new things and as such I have many different skills and hobbies. As much as I am a talented developer i am also an adept visual artist, who works on illsutrations

I am well established in the use of multiple programming langues and have used multiple frameworks in order through my time. Some of these skills are:

My Hobbies include

  4. Music production, mainly through guitar.

Notable achievements

  • Participated in Lowveld high 2018 African Explosion (part of the band)
  • Achieved a bronze certificate for Computer Olympiad (2018)
  • Silver medalist for provincial SAASTA debate competition 2017 and 2018.
  • Got interviewed on TV about an artwork that got a gold certificate and was in the top 20 for the province (2018)
  • Wrote, directed and acted in Albany one act play which came 2nd (2018).
  • Achieved Lowveld High house play award for best actor (2019).
